Maintains the computer of all types of hardware and software, providing technical support and ensuring the whole university runs smoothly. Support monitors and maintains the university computer systems, installs, and configures hardware and software, and solves technical issues as they arise.Key Responsibilities:● Maintain Inventory – Prepare and update IT Equipment’s Inventory on a Physical inventory system as well as on Desktop Central System. ● Procurement Management – Identify and generate list of required IT equipment and support in purchase new PC’s, Laptops, projectors, printers for classrooms, labs, academic and administrative staff according to needs and allocated budget. ● Technical Support – Provides required IT devices and technical support for all the users within and outside the campus for events. ● Team Management - Align objectives and bridge communications between various internal departments within the campus, including faculty, and students and maintain the required standards for hassle free work. ● Helpdesk System – Uses Helpdesk System to keep a track of IT requests and for making annual and interim reports. ● Claim Management Support – Assist the staff for all the IT products which are in warranty and get claim or replacement for the products. ● Continuous Improvement – Obtain feedback from seniors/tasks for lessons learnt to incorporate in future events.Key Accomplishments at Effat University, Jeddah, KSA:● Successful Implementation of global standard IT system. ● Formulating, developing, implementing efficient & controlled procedures for the department. ● Deputy to Head of IT and leading the team during at daily meetings.● Successfully Executing and closing various event and seminars within and outside the campus.● Volunteer member of local EHS team to prompt zero harm culture.
