I was sent to different NHS wards including Acute, Psychiatric Intensive Care Units, and High Dependency Units. This has given me experience with teenagers, adults and the elderly. I monitored patients on the wards and assist in level 1, 2, 3 and 4 observations along with the daily running of the ward. The opportunity to be in different wards with different client groups across Birmingham has allowed me to develop my transferable skills and my confidence in interacting with patients with a variety of different difficulties.
