During my internship at Zmerly and Co, I gained hands-on experience in designing and optimizing heat load calculations, floor heating systems, and advanced sanitary solutions. I expanded my knowledge of various systems, including boilers, solar panels, pumps, circulators, and a range of valves and components essential for creating high-efficiency systems. I also significantly enhanced my skills in AutoCAD, OVplan, and Excel, which were crucial for precise design and documentation. Working alongside a talented team, I learned the importance of precision and innovation in delivering energy-efficient solutions. This experience not only deepened my technical expertise but also prepared me to tackle complex projects independently.

During my internship at a combined cycle power plant, I had the opportunity to delve into various critical aspects of power plant operations. I gained a solid understanding of the principles of plant desalination, demineralization, water treatment, and waste and sewage management systems. I also worked on calculating gas emissions from the power plant, ensuring compliance with environmental standards. Additionally, I learned about the design and implementation of fire fighting systems within the plant. I deepened my knowledge of thermodynamic principles and gained detailed insights into the steam and gas cycles, including turbines, pumps, valves, and other essential components. A highlight of the internship was participating in several sessions with a talented engineer, where we explored project management and control techniques, equipping me with the skills to contribute effectively to complex engineering projects.
