I am an independent consultant with a passion for migration, gender, and diversity. I work with organizations in the impact sector on development policy, strategy, and evaluation. I am also the co-founder of the civil society initiative Makan which strives to change the discourse on migration in Germany. I believe that effective development is participatory, people-centred and emancipatory, and seek to work across sectors to achieve that.Previously, I worked with the International Organization for Migration, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and consulted the German Foreign Office with the Hertie School.
