Forte's College to Career Cohort is a 6-month program designed to support recent college graduates navigate the early career transition.

Student worker within the Michigan Publishing Services Department at the University of Michigan Library. Responsible for auditing author guides, coordinating journal index applications, facilitating vendor pricing negotiations, and conducting accessibility assessments, among other projects.

Founded in 2012, Venture for America was a highly selective 2-year national fellowship that prepares recent college graduates for careers as entrepreneurs. VFA Fellows attend a rigorous business boot camp before moving to work in startups in cities with growing economies. Within a Capstone Multidisciplinary Action Project student team, I worked collaboratively with faculty advisors and sponsor, Zaman International, over the course of 4 months to create a real estate feasibility assessment for a Senior Living Village ages 60+ with a focus on healthy aging.

As the Director of Communications, I was primarily responsible for developing marketing strategies to engage our brand with external stakeholders, such as Ross BBAs and the Michigan student body. Moreover, I took care of all internal communications for membership meetings and semester events.

As a member of the MAX Marketing team, I collaborated with team members and other functional teams to discuss and implement social media content across platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, detailing and advertising MAX products, scholarships, initiatives, and upcoming events.

In this role, I supported the TLC team across administrative and executive functions, working cross-functionally within the team and with internal partners and stakeholders and vendors as needed to help operationalize marketing programs and support the agency management overall.

This role was very special as I was able to consult on a non-profit in my local neighbourhood as it implemented its newest digital literacy program -- MABELLEconnect -- for low-income senior residents. I handled the development of the curriculum for this program, as well as its facilitation along with several wonderful volunteers.

Consulted with and guided potential Exchange Participants on exchanges for internships ranging in Business, Engineering, and IT, facilitating cross-cultural understanding and developing youth leadership as part of the Outgoing Global Teaching, Outgoing Global Talent, and Incoming Global Talent function teams.

As the Team Lead for Outgoing Global Talent, I managed and directed a group of 3 members as they handled operations, delegating tasks and tracking progress to develop and educate members in both personal and professional settings.
