About Mariam Abu Adas
I am a multi-skilled, program manager with more than 19 years of experience in managing community, youth, and gender equality projects throughout Middle East, North Africa, and Europe, both in the field and within digital spaces. As a co-founder of the Jordan-based women NGO Tatawor, I focused on advocacy, youth, and women’s rights and economic empowerment, working at a grassroots level to provide local communities the tools to create a change in the governance mode and decision making mechanisms. This experience lead to creating the standards for youth centres in Jordan for the Ministry of youth with the support of UNICEF.
