I started my journey as a customer service representative, catering to the needs of users by finding solutions to problems. In my spare time I ran an online fashion store that dealt with African print and so it got me interested in patterns and colors. My first design tool was Canva as I loved quotes so I always designed templates for quotes I post on Instagram and also create posters for my blog. All this put together led me to UX design. I've always appreciated using both my creative and analytical thinking processes. I struggled for a while to figure out how to make the two of them into a job; finding UX design was the perfect mix of the two for me My work in UX design has given me a thorough understanding of the process of designing, developing, and assessing digital products for a range of platforms. I am continuously in awe of design and how it is perceived. How do we break down complex tasks to be more understandable while also looking pleasing to the eyes, solving daily challenges while maintaining a users attention.
