Communications Assistant
CurrentI am accountable for the coordination of the Joint Research Centre Economy and Industrial Leadership Unit's internal and external communication in close cooperation with the Directorate B Communications Team. Since my arrival, I create and use internal channels of information to ensure the flow of updated information to every member of the Unit. I also work in the promotion and scientific dissemination of the Unit's projects.One of my challenges is identifying opportunities for communicating Unit related work and results, screening potential news and converting scientific texts into easily understandable and professional communication products.I also advise colleagues on communication issues such as online communication, corporate image and branding, presence at conferences, exhibitions and relations with the media.
