I conceptualised and co-founded this literary imprint with a vision to publish unheard and new voices in literary fiction. As the literary head, I manage and execute the different aspects of the production process from scouting for new manuscripts for publication, to overseeing the shaping of the manuscript into a book. My roles and responsibilities include:• Commissioning new voices in literary fiction for publication • Working with the author on the editorial process• Editing and proof-reading of the manuscript• Layout and cover design (typography) of the book• Working with the printers during the production process to ensure quality of print• Creating plans for marketing and publicity of the book• Managing the logistics of sales (including packing, shipping, and customer support)

I co-founded this creative studio with a vision to redesign imagination and rediscover stories. In this job, I work with multiple clients and offer them services such as book design, website design, creative story-telling, and content editing.

In my role as the associate and design editor, I have designed the logo of the publishing house, as well as the cover and layout design for the forthcoming anthologies under Strands.

I was part of the core founding team of LIJLA and began my work as the Student Editor. During this time, I designed the logo, cover, and the layout of the journal from its very first issue. Currently, I work as the Design and Layout Editor and my roles and responsibilities include:• Designing the cover page and layout of each issue of the journal.• Proofreading the content of every issue before publication.• Overseeing the printing requirements of each issue.

I am a founding member of this student run journal and worked as the Editor in Chief for about two years. During this time, we brought out the first three issues of the journal. My roles and responsibilities included:• Conceptualised the vision, format and guidelines of the journal after incorporating ideas from the team.• Guided the team through the different stages of design and publication.• Delegated roles and responsibilities for the editorial team members and guided them through the process. • Oversaw each issue of the journal from pre-production to launch.

I was a member of the core committee of the first literature festival in Manipal and worked as the Student Coordinator for a period of 6 months. During this time, my roles and responsibilities included:• Planning, executing, and coordinating the events under MILAP.• Booking travel tickets for the resource persons and being their point of contact.• Ensuring that the events function smoothly on the days of the lit fest.• Designing the website and updating it on a daily basis.

I was selected to participate in a four week research and exchange program at Juniata College, Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. During this period, I attended a course on Digital Storytelling, and researched on how to use new media for creative expression.
