Since the inception of my educational career, my unwavering passion and commitment to serving others have been the defining elements across my diverse roles. I owe this to my immigrant parents, who instilled in me the belief that education was the key to a better future. As I grew older, I witnessed the stark inequalities in educational access. I wanted to do something to help bridge this divide and my vocation to the field of education became clear.As a passionate advocate for youth, I've worn many hats, including roles as a teacher, counselor, advisor, and academic dean, all of which have taught me the significance of collaboration. Collaboration has empowered me to impact not just one student but to advance schoolwide initiatives, extending my reach and influence. My fluency in Spanish has enabled me to connect with families facing language barriers. I've conducted bilingual workshops on financial aid and college applications, leaving no one behind.
