EchoMetrics Corporation is an internet-based provider of expert echocardiogram interpretations to hospitals, clinics, and mobile ultrasound. My responsibilities from initial start-up included the development of a business model, establishing all business logistics infrastructure including medical licenses, insurance credentialing and business licenses in 17 states, defining the target market, developing marketing message and building sales.Accomplishments:• Identified target markets, conducted market research for a new product and start-up, evolved product through market feedback.• Established a business infrastructure to practice medicine in 17 states.• Developed product awareness and sales through execution of strategic planning, sales, and marketing development.• Increased sales 48% in 18 months.

Sonotech was a leading developer and manufacturer of nondestructive testing ultrasonic couplants and an innovator in diagnostic medical ultrasonic scanning gel. My responsibilities began with the founding of the company and included leading the marketing, sales and product extension efforts for 45 NDT couplants. The market breadth of these responsibilities included nuclear power, aircraft, aerospace, petrochemical and transportation; and a new medical ultrasonic scanning gel that addresses the exponentially growing problem of MRSA and hospital-acquired infections.Accomplishments:• Revenue growth averaging 15% per year over five years based on successfully identifying new medical and industrial target markets and product positioning.• Produced numerous tactical sales tools including newsletters, website, advertisements, journal publications and trade show exhibits.
