Responsible for the company’s GIS projects ranging from small to large infrastructure works. Responsible for providing a feasibility study on the use of Floating Wetlands in treating wastewater next to the Olympic Venue in Rio. This work was requested by the Federal Public Ministry of Brazil. Waterclean partnered with a Brazilian engineering company to develop the restoration project and achieve the contaminant removal rates within the given budget, undertook the following tasks:  Researched the product’s efficiency; Presenting the studies to politicians, engineers and the public; Writing reports in Portuguese; Communicating with the Rio de Janeiro’s City Council; Liaising with NZ Trade & Enterprise in the two countries (New Zealand and Brazil); Meeting and understanding the needs of the Rio Secretary for the Environment; Calculating and designing floating wetlands to increase efficiency removal rates of pollutants in rivers; Organizing suppliers to deliver the material made in the United States to Brazil; and Preparing maintenance programs.

Responsible for data collection using Collector for ArcGIS for over 70km of streams on three different catchments in the Auckland region; undertook the following tasks:  Data Collection on tablets, or phones paring with GPS devices to improve data collection accuracy; and Data QA of data collected on the field using ArcMap; Assisted with Contaminated Land Assessments for private developers, under the following tasks:  Undertook soil samples to be sent to laboratory analysis;  Interpretation of soil samples; and  Report writing to assess soil contamination levels against the proposed activity. Assisted with the compilation of Erosion and Sediment Control Plans as part of pre-construction Resource Consent Applications:  Water catchment calculation;  Selection of erosion and sediment control devices;  Report writing and design of erosion and sediment control systems. Responsible for Trade Waste Monitoring: Monthly collection of trade waste for VOC’s and Hydrocarbons;  Analysis and monthly reporting for a private entity for tradewaste in Auckland & Hamilton. Assisted Auckland Council with a Maintenance Prioritization Scheme for stormwater treatment devices: Responsible for collating, analyzing and processing data for a 20-year Maintenance Program of 66 Stormwater Treatment Devices (mostly wetlands & sedimentation ponds) in West Auckland;  File review of all stormwater treatment devices built in West Auckland;  Compilation and summary of data into excel; and  Creation of a prioritization scheme to inform which stormwater ponds to maintain first.
