Mariana graduated the University of Florida with a degree on Journalism and Mass Communications as well as a minor in Geography and a specialization in Design. She is now a Digital Content Producer for NBC2 & ABC7 in Fort Myers, Fl. As a DCP she works on scheduling pushes, writing breaking news stories, gathering information, checking SEO, managing social media content and create templates for Instagram post. Mariana worked strictly on the Instagram page and gave it a make-over, bringing over 7K new followers to the NBC2 account in the last year. Her favorite task is working on environmental and community stories. She is an AP Style passionate and has a great problem-solving mentality. Back in UF, Mariana was involved in multiple leadership positions inside and outside of campus. She was part of multiple Hispanic Organizations as Peer Leader, Secretary, Social Media Manager, Peer Coordinator and President and more. Mariana was also part of a weekly radio show for almost a year in which she would invite guest and work on marketing strategies.
