Born in Brazil, Mariana graduated from the New York Film Academy with a Bachelor's Degree in Filmmaking. Her feature documentary, Scab Vendor, is represented by Mediawan and features Iggy Pop, Jim Jarmusch and Johnny Depp. The movie premiered at the 38th Warsaw International Film Festival and is currently in festivals around the world. As Creative Director for the collective MARACA, from Venice Beach, partners with Whisky Films and AC/McGarryBowen, Mariana developed and supervised multiple creative content projects such as Girls & Sex and Urban Safari. She has developed TV Series for Conspiração Filmes, Cine Latina Estúdio, and Anonymous Content. Mariana also focuses as a catalyst for independent projects with her company Desterro Filmes. Awarded with the Catarinense Film Prize for Development in 2019 and 2020, official selection of the BLOOD WINDOW Lab 2020, official selection for the TorinoFilmLab in 2020 and 2021 and a fellow at the Series Mania Writers' Campus 2022. Mariana is currently developing a TV Series for Espotlight with Jotagá Crema, with whom she is also writing a feature film. She is one of the talents of the prestigious Projeto Paradiso, an initiative of the Olga Rabinovich Institute that provides high–value support mechanisms for Brazilian talents in the audiovisual sector. She is represented by Bradley Glenn from Buchwald in the USA and Juliana Vedovato from PBA Talents in Brazil. Mariana é formada em cinema nos EUA, é roteirista, diretora e produtora. Seu longa metragem Scab Vendor é representado pela Mediawan, e conta com a participação de Iggy Pop, Johnny Depp e Jim Jarmusch. O filme estreou no 38o Festival Internacional de Varsóvia e continua viajando por festivais no mundo. Como Diretora Criativa do coletivo artístico MARACA, em Venice Beach, sócios da Whisky Films e da AC/McGarryBowen, desenvolveu e supervisionou múltiplos projetos criativos como Girls & Sex e Urban Safari. Foi contemplada com o Prêmio Catarinense de Cinema em 2019 e 2020, seleção oficial do Blood Window Lab 2020, TorinoFilmLab 2020 e 2021 e uma fellow do Writers' Campus do Series Mania em 2022. Mariana faz parte da rede de talentos do Projeto Paradiso. Nos EUA é representada por Bradley Glenn da Buchwald e no Brasil por Juliana Vedovato da PBA Talents.
