I joined a multidisciplinary team of 20 members in a 10-month project to redesign the website of ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, focusing on improving user experience and optimizing visibility. As a product designer, my responsibilities included conducting research and benchmarking against leading tech companies, defining the website's information architecture, conceptualizing its design, collaborating with stakeholders for validation, creating low-fidelity screens, and defining key website interactions.

This full-time role was both challenging and fulfilling, requiring me to identify improvement opportunities through data analysis, redesign the insurance renewal and payment processes, and create final creative assets for the user’s private area.

I had the incredible opportunity to design the ShoreView App from the ground up. This comprehensive project involved gaining a deep understanding of user needs, aligning with business goals, and navigating the startup ecosystem. My main responsibilities included: Conducting thorough analysis of user needs, motivations, and behaviors, creating detailed user-flow diagrams, wireframes, and both low and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma and conducting user testing to gather valuable feedback and refine the app.

In this role, my focus extended beyond design to include comprehensive user research across various Scrum teams. Collaborating closely with Business and IT departments, I analyzed data and generated hypotheses to inform the design of new digital products and processes. My responsibilities encompassed:- Designing and iterating on prototypes.- Conducting both qualitative and quantitative research methods.- Facilitating design activities across the company to identify opportunities and maintain a robust backlog.I excelled in this multifaceted role, which allowed me to blend analytical and creative skills seamlessly.My favorite methods included: Surveys, Interviews, Usability Testing, Empathy Maps, Journey Maps, User Personas, Card Sorting, Benchmarking and Heuristic Evaluation.
