LAWRS is a human rights, feminist organization run by and for Latin American migrant women living in the UK. We support 5,000 women every year who are exposed to violations of their fundamental human rights, facing violence against women and girls, exploitation in low-paid sectors, trafficking, or enduring severe poverty and deprivation. Part-time volunteer in the communications department. Supported the new website development, and worked in the Coalition of Latin Americans in the UK campaign and the Step Up Migrant Women campaign. Contributed to successfully relaunching the website, and expanding awareness about migrant rights and resources for the community by reaching more than 160,000 people from the Latin community through social media channels.
