Hey there. My name is Mariana. I am a full-time graphic designer based in Porto and a dreamer in my spare time. Sometimes, I embody both roles simultaneously. I love paper and heartfelt words; I love swimming and celebrating life, not necessarily in that order.I was born in autumn 1987, the very year that the poet Carlos Drummond de Andrade and the revolutionary Zeca Afonso passed away.Since childhood, I have immersed myself in the arts, much like Drummond immersed himself in the stars, translating dreams onto paper where every detail is meticulously thought out, and every scribble is transformed into a creative universe. I learned from Zeca Afonso to resist, to sing about freedom, transforming adversities into resilience and hope.In 2009, I earned my degree in Communication Design from ESAD — Escola Superior de Artes e Design — Matosinhos. Since then, I've been working in various fields, including cultural and artistic realms, branding, events and cosmetics.The mantra is and always will be the same. I put my heart into everything I do.
