I am a Data Analyst but I used to be a Nurse. Growing up I had a hard time choosing what to study after high school, I was divided between science and mathematics. The health field seemed promising at the time and nursing was my first degree. Completed it successfully, kept on studying for fun and to keep growing, worked abroad, enjoyed my career and learnt priceless lessons throughout. About 2 years ago, after 10 years of practice, I started to feel like it was time to move on and to look for a different path. The book Factfullness reminded me of my old interest for mathematics and statistics and showed me how brilliantly data analysis can make a difference on how a story is told and how data visualizations are crucial to get a point across.Decided to give up my job and dedicate all my time and effort to become a Data Analyst. Completed the Data Analytics Course at Ironhack, where through coursework and hands-on projects I learnt Python, SQL, Tableau, Statistics and Machine Learning.My previous professional experience made me a responsible and resourceful team player, with a positive and empathetic attitude, who used to work in stressful environments against all odds. At this point, I continue to pursue professional development, looking for new challenges and growing opportunities.From a more personal point of view, I can say I am bright, easygoing and adventurous!
