🇵🇹 Atualmente, as minhas responsabilidades competem a gestão e monitorização do armazenamento e distribuição de mercadoria em Portugal, desde o armazém central até às nossas lojas. Entre um variado leque de funções e tarefas, destaco o planeamento e agendamento de transportes, acompanhamento e coordenação para garantir o cumprimento de metas de custo, produtividade e pontualidade e análise de KPIs e dados para avaliação do desempenho e sugestão de possíveis oportunidades de melhoria.🇬🇧Currently, my responsibilities include managing and monitoring the storage and distribution of goods in Portugal, from the central warehouse to our shops. Among a wide range of functions and tasks, I highlight the planning and scheduling of transport, monitoring and coordination to ensure compliance with cost, productivity and punctuality targets and analysis of KPIs and data to evaluate performance and suggest possible opportunities for improvement.

O meu percurso profissional iniciou-se através de um estágio curricular nas instalações de uma empresa inserida no setor da cerâmica que posteriormente deu lugar a um estágio profissional integrando as áreas de expedição e compras, onde basicamente analisava previsões de compras e planeio a produção semanal de uma secção para o produção de caixas e compostos para embalagens.My professional career began with a curricular internship at a company in the ceramics sector, which later led to a professional internship in the shipping and purchasing areas, where I basically analyzed purchasing forecasts and planned the weekly production of a section for the production of boxes and packaging compounds.

Development of a curricular internship in an industrial context, namely within a logistic warehouse that integrates the packaging functions of a ceramic company that produces fine stoneware. The internship, lasting 5 months, had as main objective the implementation of the lean philosophy and tools in order to provide more productivity and efficiency to the ceramic product packaging process. The project emerged at the culmination of the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Coimbra, with the aim of preparing a dissertation entitled “Value stream mapping and lean toolbox implementation in the ceramics sector”.

As a Secretary, I was responsible for ensuring the flow and archiving of information within the Association, while attending the meetings and draw up the respective minutes: as well as draft General Meetings, register the presence of members, file the minutes and send them to interested parties. I was also responsible to moderate all the general logistical needs of the Association and the personal data of members and participants to be protected and comply with legislation (GDPR), especially during the archiving process. I also needed to guarantee the existence and improvement of working methods: being aware of the needs of working tools, always being attentive to the methodologies and actively seeking ways to make them more efficient. And last but not least, to ensure the internal follow-up and Knowledge Management of the events: ensure the preparation of reports and correct storage of relevant documents for the events.

BEST Green Day is an event focused on sustainability and subjects that alarm the society nowadays. There will be lectures, workshops and other activities where you the students can learn more about what is being done and what can be done at the academic, business, organizational, or even small day-to-day actions.My position is being responsible to design the materials for the event, something that is challenging but because this is a subject that concerns me so much, it motivates me to deliver conscientious and informative materials.

At a time when Soft Skills are increasingly valued in the professional world, this event the perfect opportunity for the students to acquire the tools they need to improve.Areas such as ​​communication skills improvement, project management, leadership and many others.It was the first time I was responsible for all the design of the event, the first time I contacted with creating an identity and it was very challenging for me, especially because I'm not studying for Design. A position that undoubtedly made me grow more personally and professionally, allowing me to get in touch with programs I had never worked with, people I had never contacted, and even personal traits I had never explored.

The purpose of the Vivaldi Department is to support the organisation of the BEST Events defined in the Vivaldi Handbook.The Design Responsible makes materials to promote the BEST Courses.It was my first contact with design and it made me fall in love with this area, making me want to learn more about Adobe programs and design techniques.Courses are organized by BEST in order to give students the opportunity to increase their international experience, establish contacts, improve their English and have fun.
