Very seldom does one get the chance to make their passion their profession. I have been extremely lucky to have the opportunity to do so with Numerix!Prior to the birth of Numerix Accounting Services (Pty) Ltd in October 2017, I began my Financial career at Alliott de Witt Saestad Incorporated (ADWS). It was an honour to be chosen for a traineeship at such a prestigious firm while I studied towards my BCompt Degree.Accounting being my passion, I seized the opportunity to practice the theoretical concepts I had been learning at University and to learn from the very best in the industry. Having always been very ambitious and career driven, this combination allowed me to get involved at a grassroots level at a time when my peers were only beginning to understand the theory. I was awarded my Degree in 2015 and obtained my PGDIP AAS two years later, the same year that I joined Thusa Business Support (Pty) Ltd in the role of Financial Manager. In 2018 I successfully completed the SAICA ITC examination and with more hard work and determination I will qualify as a Chartered Accountant in 2019, after which I will continue my academic career, studying Advanced Taxation. I believe in lifelong learning, constantly adapting and evolving. This is especially important for someone in the Financial field, so as the Managing Director of Numerix I encourage a culture of learning and acquiring new skills, so that we consistently deliver our best to every client.It is this attitude and approach to business that has allowed Numerix to amass a very impressive client list, which spans varied industries from property development and Trusts to restaurants and other larger businesses.
