While working as an Account Executive with Tyme Direct Mail, she handled Redbook, HBO, John Wiley & Sons, MTV, the International Council of Shopping Centers, McCall’s magazine and others.In 1982, Marian founded her own businesses. First starting One Woman Show, Inc., an international screen printing and embroidery factory and later expanded to include all aspects of printing and marketing as the I.O.U. company. I.O.U was one of the first printing companies to use green inks and eco-friendly supplies.She later sold those businesses and, took a position with Yippee Print as a VP/Director of Sales. Marian worked with them for just over three years and increased sales along New Jersey’s “Gold Coast”.Marian began Group 27 in the spring of 2002. The number 27 seemed significant: She has 27 assorted suppliers accumulated from 31+ years of experience 27 is the assigned SIC government prefix code for printingCoincidence or an alignment of the stars?
