I'm a consultant with expertise in strategic development of international projects with a focus on social justice, gender, human rights and peacebuidiling.In alliance with the Dutch Embassy and the Netherlands Alumni Association in Colombia, I coordinated a convening for media organisations to implement a project guaranteeing freedom of expression and reliable information. As a result, the media Cuestión Pública was selected and produced four investigative stories about political corruption in Colombia. With them, I co-hosted an online event with journalists about censorship in media and how to tackle fake news. Now I represent the Netherlands Alumni Association of Colombia. • Helped as translator from Spanish to English in the workshop over Security for Human Rights Defenders held by Justice and Peace organisation in The Netherlands.• Co-assisted with administrative tasks of academic events like ordering catering services in the International Institute of Social Studies.• Designed and managed convening events to fund the Freedom of Expression project in collaboration with the Dutch Embassy in Colombia and the Dutch Alumni Association.• Facilitated the workshop over Women, Peace and Security between the Yemeni SOS Foundation, The Hague Academy of Local Governance and the Colombian Fundación Escuelas de Paz funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.I am open for new projects in The Netherlands and remote.

ACDI/VOCA is a global development partner implementing economic and social development projects around the world.- I co-organised more than ten awareness campaigns to promote reconciliation with the communications team. One of the most remarkable was co-produced in alliance with the Truth Commission and Discovery Channel with three female rap singers who could engage young communities among the different meanings of truth and justice with an alternative narrative towards peacebuilding. As a result, the rap singers recorded a song with Discovery Channel entitled as reconciliation ambassadors in Colombia. - Managed ten projects in alliance with institutions and stakeholders with half a million euros budget.- Supervised technical consultancies and straightened organizations' capacity for developing truth and memory guidelines to compensate victims of violence, designing a public policy for gender, dialogue and the non-repetition of violence.I co-assisted the Mayor of Bojayá, Chocó in Colombia, with a participatory focus group to write the gender public policy. Consequently, women victims of domestic violence and internal conflict included their social and economic needs in the current political plan of the municipality. - Led 30+ awareness-raising workshops focusing on women, children, and social leaders in 27 places of Colombia, reaching more than 700 people.- Facilitated dialogue between the Truth Commission, Universities, and the private sector to build trust in a post-conflict settlement.- Supported academic publication of the Transitional Justice Mechanisms’ research with the Institute for Humans Rights, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.-Supported internal and external communication activities and monitored the database entries of projects. - Prepared project-related contracts of 10 consultants.

Connectas is a non-profit organization that promotes the production of information on key issues for the Americas. - Supervised 14 project controllers in 6 countries of Latin America.- Reported and managed the grant given to journalists in 10 countries of the Americas. - Monitored and reported the compliance of journalists' projects according to the ICFJ, USAID, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, and NED. - Assisted three workshops and four webinars.

The NCHM is in charge of contributing to the State's duty of memory regarding the Colombian armed conflict violations.- Built up a database consulted by the UN Mission in Colombia to demand the State’s responsibility to guarantee journalists’ protection and sought the violation facts and rebuilt the historical memory.- Researched the facts that caused violence against journalists from 1977 to 2015.- Interviewed 60 victims - Wrote one chapter of the book.- Monitored and reported the project · Publication of the Memory Report "La palabra y el Silencio" 2015. FLIP is a non-governmental organization that promotes press freedom in Colombia and oversees.- Advocated for freedom of expression of journalists. - Managed and reported three projects sponsored by Freedom House and CPJ - Managed humanitarian aid plans for journalists at risk. - Represented the organization in meetings with the National Protection Unit of the Colombian government. - Provided humanitarian assistance to more than ten journalists at risk by publishing their stories in other media resources, relocating their homes, and demanding protection over 158 aggressions to the Government's National Protection Unit

JSR is an international Catholic organization with a mission to accompany, serve, and advocate for refugees and other forcibly displaced persons.I co-implemented a project for internally displaced population. My work included preparing the humanitarian kits, delivering them to the victims of the conflict and advocating for families in the protection cluster of the town. As a result, I assisted more than 1000 people and their families during one year. - Advocated for Internally displaced communities’ (IDP) protection in meetings with local actors and UN agencies. - Led 24 human rights workshops to local authorities over communities’ protection - Promoted three awareness campaigns for women’s rights.- Wrote 4 narrative quarterly reports and 10 context analyses.
