Lift Every Voice Family and Community Development Project is an Advocacy agency supporting survivors of Trauma. Lift's focus is to aid survivors in speaking out about their experiences in an effort to educate the public and bring an end to Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence. Programming efforts include:1. Public Speaking, Journal Publications, Radio and other Media Interviews on Recovery and Resilience2. Collaboration with the Dallas Independent School District's Domestic Violence Task Force3. Legislative Agendas: Focusing on mandated trauma- focused screening, Public Schools education and prevention programming initiatives.4. Community education programming through the use of the arts to decrease the stigma surrounding issues specific to rape and incest survival.
