I have been practicing in the Holistic health industry for over 20 yrs. I originally studied at the Mueller School of Holistic Healing where I received my HHP in therapeutic massage. Specializing in the Asian body therapies including Tuina and Acupressure. Shortly after, I traveled to China to study at the Beijing Tuina Hospital. Here I was able to further my knowledge in Tuina, an ancient style of therapeutic Chinese massage. I attended the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where I completed my Masters of Science, in Traditional Oriental Medicine. I participated in many of the externship opportunities, including the UCSD Seniors Free Clinic and Rady’s Children’s Hospital where I gained a real world experience treating patients of all ages and levels of relative health. I also had opportunities to volunteer in the community, assisting displaced fire victims during the San Diego county fires and discussing the value of TCM in modern medicine at the WHO conference in San Diego.I founded Right On Point Acupuncture in 2009. I am committed to combining the ancient practice of Chinese medicine with modern techniques; I understand the value of working with multiple modalities and believe that integrating specialties to serve the patients health care goals and needs is where the future of medicine is approaching. I began my studies in Functional Medicine in 2010 and have been integrating Functional Medicine and Nutrition with Chinese Medicine since. I founded Essential Wellness Centre as an Integrative health clinic combining the best of Traditional and Modern modalities.
