I am an interdisciplinary artist and educator (Greece, 1982). My artistic practice intersects with contemporary dance, performance, visual poetry and book arts. My academic studies include a degree in biology and a degree in contemporary dance. My teaching repertoire covers contemporary dance, yoga and pilates.I have been sharing movement based practices since 2009. I have given classes and workshops in yoga and pilates studios, dance schools, festivals, and cultural centres in Greece and internationally.I have delivered group and private classes to a variety of individuals- from beginners to advanced practitioners, professional dancers and athletes, to pregnant and postnatal women. I truly believe in the joy and benefits that movement brings to all and I am particularly interested in making physical exercise accessible, especially to those who are often excluded from kinetic practices, such as the elderly or those with injuries, chronic illnesses, and disabilities.My teaching approach is based on respect for the complexity of the human body and psyche, and I try to tailor my classes to the specific needs of the participants.
