The Department of the Navy Director, Acquisition Talent Management (DATM) is the Navy and Marine Corps’ lead for the professional development and management of the DoN acquisition workforce. Serving as the chief advisor and staff assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development, and Acquisition, and represents the Assistant Secretary and the Principal Civilian Deputy Assistant Secretary for Research, Development, and Acquisition in all matters relating to initiatives and other efforts that improve the acquisition workforce through education, training, and career management.

Deputy Program Manager, LPD 17 Class Ships (PMS 317) (ACAT I) (PEO Ships). The LPD 17 Class Amphibious Transport Dock shipbuilding program provides the Navy-Marine Corps war-fighting team the latest capabilities in expeditionary warfare. The LPD 17's embark, transport, land and support elements of a Marine landing force in an assault by helicopters, landing craft, amphibious vehicles, and by a combination of these methods to conduct the primary amphibious warfare mission. The Deputy Program Manager supports the PM in all aspects of the design, construction and delivery to operating forces of the LPD 17 Amphibious Dock Ships, fully tested, supported and certified in accordance with the requirements established by CNO. This $ 29 B ACAT 1C Program has delivered eleven of thirteen LPD 17 Flight I ships and are operating as Fleet assets, with the two final Flight I ships under construction. There are thirteen planned Flight II Ships that will comply with the LX(R) CDD requirements for the replacement of the LSD 41/49 Class ships. Transition from the LPD Flight I to LPD Flight II takes place by phasing in design, producibility, and fact-of-life changes across LPD 28 through LPD 30. LPD 30 will be the first LPD Flight II ship planned for construction contract award in the second quarter of FY 19.

Director for Auxiliary and Amphibious Ships for the Office of Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (ODASN Ships), where she worked with programs to successfully pass DOD acquisition milestones and SECNAV Acquisition Gate Reviews. She represented the Service Acquisition Executive to OSD leadership, congressional staffs and other Services/Departments. She was the new construction industrial base and general shipbuilding issues principal and represented DASN Ships at senior level OSD meetings. She spearheaded the effort for the NASSCO shipyard lease of Navy property which facilitated shipyard expansion resulting in production efficiencies on the T-AKE Class. She had oversight of 1 ACAT 1D program, two ACAT 1C program, and three pre-MDAP (ACAT 1D) programs. In recognition of her contributions, she received a Navy Superior Civilian Service Award.
