I have a chemistry background from University of Copenhagen, but have worked solely with data analysis since 1999. I have held positions as Chemometrician, Data Science Architect, and Statistician. My varied experience allows me to form the bridge between process/system, various databases, the different nature of data from different sources and a variety of models. Chemometrics, Statistics, Mathematical Modeling, Machine Learning... I don't care too much about which 'religion' a method comes from. The important thing is to analyze the data at hand with the most suitable approach.My professional goal is to solve problems - or help other people solve their problems in the most efficient way. And with the technique most suited for the problem - this may be a raw data plot...or an advanced model. I enjoy teaching and communicating data analytical concepts and conclusions as well as leading the analytics part of larger projects.

Phd StudentNovo Nordisk A/S Mar 2001 - Feb 2004MåløvDuring my PhD I was connected to the department Applied Trinomics at Novo Nordisk in Måløv. I was not employed by Novo Nordisk but did a large part of my experiments here.I worked with high field 1H NMR, regular 1D experiments as well as DOSY. The two largest studies were: 1) modeling the time-resolved response to toxicity from urine samples in order to make an early assessment of toxicity for new research compounds and 2) quantification of lipoproteins in blood samples - some lipoproteins are precursors of cardiovascular diseases. Chemometric methods used include PLS, Tucker and PARAFAC. -
