- Qualitative research in the field of young people and sexuality (attitudes and behaviour; experiences with transgressive behaviour), with specific attention to gender, sexual diversity and cultural diversity.- Development of different interventions to improve the sexual health of young people, such as the Lovebuzz, an interactive game for 12-14 years old scholars and ´be clear about sex´, a national campaign to prevent sexual transgressive behaviour amongst young people (2009-2014), including the serious game Can You Fix it and the game No or Go, in which young people can learn to recognize hazardous situations and act to prevent sexual transgressive behaviour.

I wrote my dissertation about sexual agency of young people. The central question of this study is: how do young people exercise agency in their negotiations of sexual identities and relations? Sub questions:1. How do young people negotiate their sexual identities and relations within different cultural discourses? 2. How do social norms and expectations influence young people’s sexual agency? 3. How do the intersections of gender, ethnicity and sexuality influence the ascribed, narrative and actualised agency of young people?I base a new model on four significant crossroads as crucial domains of negotiations over sexual identities and relations: (1) ethnic minority youth living in different sexual discourses; (2) identity strategies of young bicultural gay people; (3) girls and boys’ agentic power when experiencing sexual transgressive behaviour; (4) girls experiencing teenage pregnancy.
