  Through a ride of personal hell and the loss of everything that once mattered to me I have had the ability to rebuild a life through a deep understanding of neuroscience and behaviour mechanisms. I have managed to rebuild a simple and calm life that is greater than anything I could wish for. I have gained a profound insight into the workings of the brain and a deep dive into purpose and self awareness. I now dedicate all my time to helping aspiring, career-driven women and mummas who juggle the invisible workload. For me when the joy I usually gleaned from work, from interacting with clients and suppliers dissipated and I fell further into a huge hole full of anxiety and deep seeded resentment I lost everything. My nervous system was shot and cortisol readings were crazily high.... it was a total overhaul or I would leave two beautiful girls behind. That was not an option.There was no magic pill. Not a single supplement or one self-help book that would save me. I had to peel the acute stress back layer by layer as the collision of two parallel universes of parenting and entrepreneurship ignited and start a long journey of discovery, set backs, feedback and lessons that I am now passing down to others stagnant in the same predicament.The new speed of which everything is approached - speed reading, speed dating, speed watching - I learnt about slow productivity the hard way and now am set to help break down the barriers for us all to rethink what productivity looks like - where quality is emphasized over quantity every single time. A lesson for employees, employers, husbands, wives and everything in between that value alignment and "swallowing the frog" - are the keys to balance, purpose, contentedness and efficacy. I only wish I knew that 20 years ago.
