Providing introductory and intermediate training in the art of encaustic painting through weekend workshops in the GTA and Southampton, Ontario. As an instructor, Marianne is thorough, approachable and inspiring. Her outgoing nature is complemented by the pleasure she gets from sharing her knowledge about her passions.

Marianne earned her Honours B.A. in Fine Art from the University of Guelph in 1994 and has worked in various media since. As of 2009, her focus has been on the beeswax, tree resin, and oil paint of the encaustic medium. Her work displays spontaneity and energy, be it the sensual curves of a life drawing or textural brushstrokes of encaustic.
