Advised private equity firms on value protection and risk mitigation through ESG management, with a particular focus on the supply chain management in the consumer sector.

Provided advisory services to businesses, NGOs, and MSIs on corporate responsibility solutions that both advance business and societal needs while aligning with compliance requirements. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS★ Co-directed the publishing of Samsonite’s first external report on ESG initiatives, thereby meeting reporting requirements for the HKEX.★ Educated the Inter-American Development Bank investment officers on core labor standards and its application to their portfolio. Drafted social safeguards guidance materials to support implementation. ★ Advised lower middle market private equity firms and their portfolio companies to protect and establish value through ESG management in the supply chain.★ Benchmarked the ICTI Ethical Toy Program by introducing contemporary CSR approaches that build on the strengths of the toy industry model in establishing and implementing ethical commitments. ★ Formulated and conducted multiple training initiatives for the design, procurement, and coordination teams for Marc Jacobs on how they can contribute or detract from corporate ESG commitments.★ Co-headed the development of a foundational framework for an occupational safety program for Gap's supply chain. ★ Worked with leading consumer brand on animal welfare standards across a range of consumer products that have been subject to campaign pressures, leading to engagements with standards such as Responsible Down, Leaping Bunny, and Oeko-Tex.★ Created the strategy for The Donna Karan Company to develop systems for chemical and wastewater management in response to Greenpeace’s Detox campaign.

Engaged with international stakeholders to construct key stakeholder partnerships, safeguarded access to stakeholder expertise, and advanced opportunities for collaboration to achieve Sedex’s mission for convergence in responsible business practices.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS★ Forged relationships between key non-profits, industry associations, and business leaders while serving as an internal expert and external representative on best practices and trends in ethical sourcing principles.★ Represented Sedex in multi-stakeholder initiatives, including the United Nations Global Compact Advisory Group on Supply Chain Sustainability and the Project Management Team of the Social/Labor Convergence Project by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition.★ Collaborated with Stronger Together to devise tool kits for international businesses, thereby providing practical guidance on tackling child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking.

Oversaw and led a portfolio of projects with corporate partners and local partners across wide-ranging corporate responsibility and sustainable development topics while strengthening Oxfam’s relationships and its capacity to engage with private sector actors.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS ★ Devised a strategy for a climate change resilience program at Oxfam America via PPPs with the UN Food Program and Swiss Re to provide micro-insurance and credit financial offerings to vulnerable small-holder farmers in Africa.★ Co-headed an impact study of The Coca Cola Company's and SABMiller's contributions to development in Zambia and El Salvador.★ Orchestrated the launch of a new community-based human rights impact assessment tool, piloted in natural gas exploration by Total E&P in Bolivia, large-scale mining projects in Chile, and the impact of the tobacco industry in North Carolina.★ Led its shareholder advocacy team. Engaged holdings through dialogue with senior-level company executives, coalition efforts, shareholder proposals, proxy voting, and other methods of shareholder advocacy, active ownership, and stewardship to achieve Oxfam’s ESG advocacy goals.

Led the organization through a critical year of transition, including organization’s strategic planning, financial management, organizational development, human resources and operations, public relations, and product/service design.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS★ Launched a technology platform during a period of extreme resource downturn, currently being utilized by 25+ companies across civil society, industry, and trade associations.★ Raised general awareness of FFC by 10% among corporate responsibility professionals by successfully conceptualizing and deploying a publicity campaign. ★ Influenced a 25% growth in total membership revenues within the first year and expanded membership to two new industry sectors, thereby revitalizing a stagnant marketing and sales function.

Spearheaded the social and environmental vendor compliance program for 80+ licensees and 700+ factories globally across multiple product categories.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS★ Recruited to a five-person global compliance committee responsible for coordination, promotion, and oversight of CSR efforts across divisions, departments, and regions.★ Co-developed KPIs to effectively track progress and impact in a quantifiable way while co-administering the collection, analysis, and reporting for the first sustainability report containing Group-wide performance data post-acquisition.★ Managed a global team at Adidas through the transition to a new corporate structure while overseeing a cross-functional team to launch a new corporate citizenship program upon Adidas’ acquisition of Reebok.

Oversaw the strategic integration of human rights and corporate responsibility principles throughout the company’s product, operations, culture, and philanthropy. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS★ Executed key charitable and employee engagement initiatives to meet corporate commitments, and aided in the launch of worker programs, including the first, free, and transparent union election in foreign-invested factories in China.★ Partnered with the operations and facilities team to achieve ISO 14000 certification for Reebok corporate headquarters, and created a new tool for suppliers to comprehend and report their environmental actions contributing to greenhouse emissions. ★ Trained 1K+ factory manager, vendors, and agents on corporate responsibility across Asia and the Americas, and co-led the first-ever accreditation by the Fair Labor Association for the compliance program of the company.★ Liaised with SRIs to understand their interest in environmental reporting, resulting in the company website’s first-ever environmental reporting on reebok.com and the withdrawal of a threatened shareholder resolution.
