SINOPIA is a female vocal trio with a broad range of repertoire to suit any event; corporate or private. They combine their passion for classical singing with beautifully crafted arrangements and will tailor programmes to meet a client's specific needs whether it be 60s/70s popular songs, war time tunes, a cappella barbershop or Christmas classics.

Singing, piano and music theory tuition is given privately across South London (mainly South East: Greenwich, Blackheath, Deptford, New Cross, Charlton but as far as Putney). Marianne teaches a growing array of students of all ages and levels - from absolute beginners and young children, to adults who sing semi-professionally, students preparing to audition for dance and music colleges and for professional auditions. Marianne has also worked with working professionals including dancers and actors. Students who have chosen to study for graded exams have done so very successfully with frequent merits and distinctions.

Development Officer working in fundraising with a focus on Trusts and Foundations. Duties included research into Trusts and Foundations, corporate entities and HNWIs to profile suitable prospects.Responsible for preparing and submitting grant proposals/applications for funding to a range of large and small funding bodies and also preparing evaluation reports.Other responsibilities included work within Communications; collating the content/proof-reading the EUYO’s 2016 Summer Tour Brochure which was distributed to a large public and also taking ownership of the Alumni Relations area.

One to one tuition of children at an all girls school in north London. Responsible for helping develop musical skills and confidence building through singing and performing and also preparing the older girls for Prep Tests, lower grade ABRSM, including ear training and aural test preparation. Also worked with the children at extra curricular Music Camp sessions singing in groups, giving beginners consultation lessons and preparing them to sing as a choir.

Within the Development/Friends Office my role was supporting the Friends Manager with membership renewals, upgrades, registration of new members and gift processing on Tessitura, as well as using the programme as a research tool. I supported the Development Manager with research into Trusts and Foundations, Corporate Entities and HNWIs. Additional duties included large mail outs and press monitoring.As well as working in these capacities, I also assisted the House Manager Office with ad-hoc admin duties such as digitizing historical records, stock-takes and updating databases. I was also Assistant for the 2013 Song Competition. This including being first point of contact for competitors during the Competition, coordinating warm-up rooms, rehearsal rooms and performance schedules, compiling music for adjudicators for each round and overseeing stage management alongside ushers and house management.

Preparing larger groups of young people in different age groups (from 6-18 ) to sing together and in parts. Preparing them vocally for their dance shows where singing was involved as well as working on popular standard repertoire and introducing them to technical aspects of singing and music such as correct breathing, posture and general musicality.
