Hi, I’m Mariano Asseff, an Argentinian Filmmaker and Motion Director based in Mexico City.I am a passionate and experienced Animator, VFX Artist, and Film Director with over 12 years in the advertising and film industry. I recently completed my debut film "Un Trago de Infierno" and run my own independent production company, Motus Cine (www.motuscine.com).As a science fiction fan and storyteller, I am highly skilled in illustration and animation. I am adept at working both independently and collaboratively, always committed to achieving visual innovation and beauty. I hold a degree from the University of Buenos Aires in Image and Sound Design, and I’ve always been interested in films, arts, and visuals in motion.I work as a freelance Motion Director and have had the pleasure of working on projects for major brands such as Coca-Cola, 7up, Oreo, Ford, Greenpeace, NotCo, Toyota, Mountain Dew, Stella Artois, and Copa América. In addition to client work, I produce my own independent films, music videos, and animations, often experimenting with mixed media and new technologies.For me, the technique doesn’t matter as much as the story and how to communicate it. My goal is always to discover and innovate, creating work that has a strong visual impact and beauty.
