About Marian Pat

Hi, I'm Marian!I am an international student currently studying in Niagara College-Welland Campus taking up the program Educational Assistant-Special Needs Support. I am a licensed professional teacher in the Philippines and I also used to be a winning robotics coach, and a writer for science books and robotics modules. additionally, I am also certified in Non-violent Crisis Intervention, Worker Health and Safety Awareness, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Training, WHIMIS Training, Person Centered Thinking, and Food Safety.I have been an educator for a decade and I have experienced handling/ teaching students with different personalities, behaviours, and learning styles. It has been my passion to educate young minds and guide them to reach their full potential while helping them to enjoy the learning process. As an educator it has always been my responsibility to make sure that no students should be left behind regardless of their abilities. I was also able to experience handling students with special needs I realized how fulfilling it was to see them learn, smile, and be happy with every little thing they accomplish. Since then, I’ve been very passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with special needs and so I decided to continue my higher education and took Masters in Education Management with Specialization in Educational Leadership and Management. Experience has taught me how to build strong relationships with any departments at an organization. I have the ability to work within a team as well as cross-team.
