As the EU policy adviser, I was in charge of digital, research and innovation EU policy.- I facilitated and led the process for the creation of a common EU strategy for four West Finnish regions. - I actively followed EU politics and policy updates in the areas of research and innovation, and digitalisation. Additionally, I followed European programmes like Horizon Europe and Digital Europe Programme. My main focus was the development of innovation ecosystems. - I was actively involved in the European Reagions Research and Innovation Network (ERRIN) as a co-leader of the ICT working group. I organized and moderated multiple events on digital policies. My strength was to tailormake policy recommendations for regional actors based on their interests. I worked closely with regional councils, higher education institutions and business development companies.
