Support the compliance process of Perfetti Van Melle confectionery products (mainly chewing gum and candies) with laws and technical standards applicable in the LATAM Region (South and Central America).Main Activities- Monitor, gather, and study food and labeling regulations/standards, coordinating with Group Regulatory and sharing with the organization;- Ensure the compliance of products with national food legislation/standards of the territories involved (verifying ingredients, nutritional information, raw materials, checking product labels for approval, claims, etc.);- Prepare and issue ingredient lists and nutrition information upon recipe shared by R&D and RM compliance;- Regulatory database for IL/NI preparation, labeling rules and additives; - Work closely with Marketing in order to support project development by providing advice; - Text translation for labeling preparation; - Internal data and document collection, double check the compliance of the documents prepared internally by the manufacturing factories with the legislation applicable in the destination countries.

For example, one of my tasks was to modernize presentations about FSSC 22000 and make them more catchy and easy to remember. Also, I prepared training material about essential microbiology and the importance of GMP for operators in the industries.
