As President and CEO of Oregon’s largest energy company, I lead Portland General Electric’s strategy to provide safe, reliable, clean and affordable energy for our customers in partnership with community leaders, government officials and regional partners. At PGE, we reflect the priorities and values of the customers and communities we serve. By 2030, we’ll meet customers’ expectations and reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with the power we serve by 80%. We have also set a goal to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions across our company operations by 2040. Underlying our strategy is a firm commitment to keep energy prices affordable for customers and a belief that everyone must equally benefit from a transformed energy economy.I’m honored to serve on the U.S. Secretary of Energy's Advisory Board and the board of the Oregon Business Council and I am currently chair of the Electric Power Research Institute.
