CV - PIANO Maria Saboya was a pupil of Alexander Sienkiewicz, who had been a student of Paderewsky, Egon Petri and Rachmaninov at her first youth. Later on she went to the Music School of Indiana University, studied with Frederic Baldwin (chairman of the Piano Dept.) and also attended the master classes of Gyorgy Sebok and Jorge Bolet. After receiving her Master of Arts degree, she continued to Europe, where she attended the master classes of Nicole Henriot and Evgeni Malinin, this last a professor at the Tchaikowsky Conservatory in Moscow. Malinin invited Maria Saboya to play a Mozart Concerto for 3 pianos and orchestra with him, Nadia Himo, and the Chamber Orchestra of Budapest. She also obtainned a couple of French diplomas and First Prizes. Later on she worked with the major french doctors specialists on the pianists professionnal problems -- Yves Allieu, Vincent Travers and Raoul Tubiana, and was invited to present her rehabilitation methods in the congresses "Main et Music" in Montpellier, and "International Congress of the Arts and Medecine" in Lyon, this last under the patronage of Master Yehudi Menuhin. Finaly, she created the "Musicor", a mobile device to help pianists with professional injuries. Maria Saboya has formed many young pianists and also helped many others to heal from eventual injuries.
