Acted as point of contact for Orange Legal, Inc.’s legal and compliance matters. Advised operational leaders and the executive team on compliance issues and routinely addressed legal procedural and substantive concerns. Strong focus on employment law, contract review, and legal procedural questions to maximize Company interests and minimize risk. Managed all elements of due diligence with outside counsel for the acquisition of substantially all of Orange Legal, Inc.’s assets, which closed on June 17, 2019.

Initiated and led the Human Resources function for Orange Legal, Inc. Established people strategy and designed competitive and compliant people programs, policies, and initiatives to attract and engage the right talent to fulfill the mission of the organization. Delivered coordinated recruitment, compensation, benefits, training and development, and employee relations and engagement systems to improve retention through opportunity, engagement, and recognition. As a member of the executive leadership team and key strategic business partner, provided counsel, addressed strategy, ensured compliance across all business segments and teamed with key leadership to achieve the Company’s mission of enhancing value with a focus on superior customer service, and instituting initiatives to drive profitability and growth, resulting in the sale of the business in 2019.
