Developing and integrating the sustainability strategy, setting SBTi- approved climate targets, along with managing the supporting sustainability initiatives-everything from community involvement, responsible marketing and sustainable sourcing. I enjoyed diving into the LCA details and also thinking big picture of the direction where our strategy needed to go, all while bringing our stakeholders- both internal and external-along for the journey. This included sustainability communications across our markets and brands, submitting and requesting supplier and customer questionnaires, annual reporting according to GRI, UNGC annual communication of progress, RSPO and Rainforest Alliance compliance. Value chain risk assessments, materiality assessments and other strategic benchmarking provided the foundation for our strategy. Finally, internal trainings and communication were critical to bringing our strategy to life and engaging and aligning our employees and management on A Sweeter Future.

iControl is an app for the construction industry that provides digital communication & reporting for ongoing projects. iControl removes the paper, faxing, manually reporting, and provides the completed report, with pictures, blueprints, text, dates, responsible people, etc. all included. It's constantly developing, and it's run by some of the most passionate people in Stockholm, who hope to see a positive and proactive change in the construction industry, so that more people can spend time doing what they love rather than writing reports. http://icontrolapp.se/

We introduced a program for both students who strive to become social entrepreneurs and for those students who are simply curious to learn more about social business. The program includes inspirational and informative workshops around business modelling, business planning and idea creation. It also involves an application for students with a social business idea who can then receive coaching and support during a summer incubation period. Finally, after the final submission of the social business idea, the team(s) of students with potential and social impact are awarded seed money as well as a trip to meet other winning teams from approx. 20 countries around Europe. We believe in the potential of students to make a difference. We build on the assumption and experience that a large majority of students wants to have a positive impact in society and has the talent and energy to do so.We believe in the entrepreneurial process as an ideal means for students to unleash this potential. The path of developing a social venture helps students connect with their aspirations for a better society and their creative talent. It invites them to take an active role as citizens, get in touch with reality and to collaboratively articulate and test workable solutions to societal challenges.With over 18 million students in the EU alone, we see an enormous potential for educating and supporting the next generation of social entrepreneurs in Europe. Currently, only a few percent of these students get in touch with the topics of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship throughout their formal education and even less receive support in building social ventures. We believe that Social Impact Award holds to promise to reach many more of these students and help them unleashing their social entrepreneurial talent.

Monitoring and analyzing water, natural gas, and electricity usage over the preceding 3 years for 30 local buildings. Using Energy Star's rating system, I acknowledged progress or areas of concern regarding energy efficiency. By installing Brown County in the EPA's Energy Star Portfolio Manager Program, I collected and entered data from county-owned buildings, which allowed us to compare and monitor energy efficiency. I learned a lot about other sustainability monitoring systems and technology systems as well.

As a teacher's assistant, I organized the lab, prepared research sampling materials, and accompanied the class on field sampling days. With the students outside of the lab, the position also involved hosting visiting hours, answering questions, and helping them prepare for exams and reviewing material. Outside of class, I also graded papers and exams, and helped the teacher prepare for class and labs.

I learned more than I expected at an internship inside the office of a nearby waste treatment plant and out in the field. I processed incoming reports, composed a DNR semi-annual report, monitored 52 significant industrial users for compliance on toxic discharge, accompanied field technicians on inspections, worked with the Pretreatment Coordinator with organizing documents, produced monthly billing, and provided other office help. The company is now recently named New Water.
