I served as a liaison between the association and its corporate donors for the annual scientific meeting and special programs. I prepared proposals and sponsorship agreements for the director as new corporate relationships developed. Once established, I maintained a personable connection with corporate contacts when working on fulfilling sponsorship benefits for the annual scientific meeting and special projects for the organization’s membership. I also tracked and maintained corporate contributions of approximately $600,000 to $1.2 million annually by invoicing, data entry, and bookkeeping with iMis 20 and MS Excel. The greatest enjoyment of this position was planning the corporate events that occurred during the annual scientific meeting. I planed and coordinated the corporate reception for 150 attendees and a VIP dinner for the top contributing sponsors, in addition to six sponsored lunch programs, all of which includes menu selection, BEOs review and approval, and corporate gifts.
