I work as a waitress with a dedicated team at The Bath Arms serving valued customers at the hotel.

Accelerated Veterinary Medicine, a graduate entry course designed to qualify as a Veterinary Surgeon in a shorter period (4 years in this case). Focusing on teamwork, case-based learning and authentic veterinary experiences and scenarios to aid in developing skills as a Veterinary professional from day 1.

I worked with the University of Bristol Peer Mentoring scheme as a support member, assisting first year students with their transition into University life.

Veterinary Nursing and Bioveterinary Sciences - a course unique to the University of Bristol. Includes anatomical sciences, physiology, animal welfare, infection & immunity as well as clinical placements during the first 3 years. Includes the completion of a dissertation answering a veterinary clinical question.

Worked in this bar/restaurant as a front of house waitress. I also worked as a food runner and prepared desserts for the customers. Developed my teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.

I worked as the standing Secretary for Bristol University Latin American and Ballroom Dancing Society, responsible for the distribution of information, management of society memberships, payments and information to the public.

I worked with the University of Bristol society to maintain the competing costume wardrobe for dancers in pristine condition. I also managed finances acquired from hiring costumes and repairs necessary to maintain the apparel.

As a final year student veterinary nurse, I completed 3 months of work placement at this Veterinary referral hospital for my degree. I worked alongside specialists in anaesthesia, surgery, neurology, and medicine, as well as an excellent nursing team to further advance my skills in the veterinary field.

I worked with 16 young Spanish children ages 6-12 as an English tutor during summer holidays to teach them simple English in preparation for the upcoming academic year.

My experience at this Veterinary Referral Hospital was unlike any other. I gained valuable experience in all areas of the hospital, including surgery, neurology wards, ICU, radiography, medicine and Equine.

I worked at this Veterinary practice for 21 weeks as a trainee student vet nurse. I gained a wide range of experience from learning how to properly handle animals for examination and injections to administering medications myself and performing lots of laboratory work. As a bonus, I had the wonderful opportunity to work alongside the Vet of the Year 2018 Martin Brice.

I worked voluntarily in this veterinary clinic to gain work experience for universities and for my own interest. I mainly helped to pass equipment, clean check-up tables or perform simple jobs. But I have had the opportunity to help during emergency surgery, resuscitate 9 German Shepard pups, insert intravenous catheters and helped hands-on as an assistant during a cryptorchidism castration.
