CurrentAgricultural engineer, crop modeller and data scientist. I work combining crop models, digital technologies, concepts and data science to develop innovative solutions and help on data decision processes.My daily tasks include model development and data analysis to develop insights, models and information that deliver improvements in fertilizer products. I develop crop models for understanding agricultural system processes and improving management of water and nutrients for crop production. I also carry out spatial analysis with Python and R and analysis of big datasets.Main tasks:• Development and use of crop models to improve crop management practices and yield increase.• Combining crop mechanistic simulation models with remote sensing data.• Generation of scripts for data processing and analysis.• Analyzing geospatial data to find patterns. Satellite and hyperspectral remote sensing data among others.• Satellite Image data processing, Analysis and Mapping.• Processing, cleaning, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.• Statistical analysis, correlation matrix, heatmaps, single and multiple linear regression, etc...• Building statistical models for prediction of different crop production parameters.• Data visualization for data-driven decision making.
