Turing School's Back-End Engineering program provides fundamental skills in Object-oriented Programming with Ruby, Web Applications with Ruby, Professional Rails Applications, and Client-Side Development with Javascript. Turing is an inclusive community that supports students to learn, grow, and launch fulfilling careers.

An accelerated web development training program focused on creating SPA web applications. The program focuses on learning the MEAN stack. Technologies covered: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Bootstrap framework, and AngularJS on the front-end. Back-end: MongoDB, NodeJS & ExpressJS. Other key tools: Gulp, Github, and Heroku.

Managing two main projects:1) 3GF (Global Green Growth Forum) Event held in Copenhagen, Denmark in October 2012. My main repsonsibilities included managing the Media & Marketing Plan for 3GF and facilitating timely project management of deliverables through weekly meetings with our chief client, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Denmark.2) World Climate Summit 2012. The third annual WCS being held December 2nd at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Doha, Qatar, alongside the UNFCCC COP 18 proceedings.My main responsibilities in the lead up to the WCS were to:1) Manage relations with key partners, provide content & key documents surrounding the WCS, and liaisoning communications.2) Management of sponsor deliverables and ensuring timely delivery as agreed contractually. Our sponsors for the WCS 2012 included: The BMW Group; State of Green: Philips; Siemens; The European Investment Bank; and Iberdrola. 3) Working with and assisting key WCL clients, particularly with logistics & travel concerns, including COP18 questions, visa, travel, and transportation considerations, and providing attentive assistance.4) Creating engaging and succinct communications documents regarding the WCS and providing these to clients, sponsors, partners, event delegates, event speakers, and external stakeholders (respectively). Documents included: event contract agreements for partners & sponsors (respectively); and event manuals for partners, sponsorship, speakers, and delegates (respectively).5) Providing timely progression of key project components including: 1) Conference Brochure. Management of sponsor advertisements; logo placements for key partners & sponsors; & brochure content. 2) Speaker Programme (focus of the event) To procure 5 engaging panels with expert speakers from across the globe. 3) Team Logistics: travel, accommodation, team coordination (in the lead-up & on-site).
