I was hired in March 2020, and despite only having a handful of work days before quarantine hit, I was able to transition all existing programming online within my first month of employment, as well as plan and host a three-day long virtual conference which occurred during my second month of employment. I was responsible for planning and moderating all events and special programs, which included finding mentors and speakers for weekly virtual meetups and monthly virtual lectures.My role included assisting members with any needs, requests, or technical difficulties, as well as recruiting all inbound leads using the Nutshell CRM. During my time at Stoke, I became well versed in forum management, copy editing, UX/UI design, podcast and video production, and community management.

My role as Social Services Assistant at Good Samaritan is ever-changing. Each day is different with a new set of challenges and agendas, and I have to easily adapt to whatever my job requires of me that day. My duties include performing administrative duties such as handling admission and discharge paperwork with clients, assessing the cognitive functions and mood and behavioral statuses of residents on a daily basis, handling tedious and complex data entry, coordinating home health referrals, and supervising when the social worker is out of town. I have become well-versed in the ins and outs of insurance policies and Medicare/Medicaid coverage, and often have to provide on the spot answers. This job has required me to hone my skills as a creative problem solver.

During my time at Blue Bag Market, I was primarily responsible for maintaining the store's social media. Through producing creative content, our social media attracted customers and kept our them informed of upcoming events, new arrivals, and community partnerships. I assisted in the planning of events, such as the Skyelight cold brew release party, and helped the owner choose product based on purchase trends. I also helped coordinate deliveries and I supervised the store when the owner was unavailable.
