Full time integration on the Inflammation Laboratory, a multidisciplinary team leaded by Miguel Soares. Developed a MSc Thesis entitled "A critical role for macrophages in tissue homeostasis maintenance". Studied macrophage-fibroblast interactions in co-culture, focusing on mitochondrial disfunction and iron related pathologies.
