As an FE Teacher at Step2Skills, I plan and teach Functional Skills English, Maths, and Essential Digital Skills to mostly ESOL learners, using learner-centred methodologies and approaches that embed mindfulness, coaching, and NLP. I have been teaching for more than 12 years, and I have a Master of Education degree, a Level 5 qualification in Teaching Functional Skills English and Maths, and a CELTA certificate. I am also a Fellow of the Society for Education and Training (SET) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (MCIL), which demonstrate my commitment to professional development and standards in my field.In addition, I am a Certified Translator and Interpreter, with over 15 years of experience in managing translation projects and delivering quality legal and medical translations. I have taught more than 5,000 students online facilitating a Business English course tutoring on written business communication, and customer service communication, supporting the learners with e-Learning platforms and tools. I am passionate about helping learners develop their literacy, numeracy, digital, and professional skills, and I am always keen to update my knowledge and expertise in my subject areas. My goal is to provide engaging, effective, and empowering learning experiences that meet the needs and aspirations of my learners.
