• Consultant for $1.8 million Department of Homeland Security Regional Resiliency Assessment Program (RRAP) for the Texas Panhandle.• Reviewed emergency plans and preparedness information for cattle and livestock industry against natural and manmade threats such as Foot-and-Mouth Disease and other Foreign and Emerging Animal Disasters.• Controller/Evaluator for a series of tabletop exercises conducted by Cubic Corporations for local industries, key emergency management officials, and county judges.

• Responsible for the training, setup, activation, and operation of the Emergency Operations Center and Mobile Operations Center including personnel, communications, warning, computer/AV systems.• Serve as Duty Officer and respond to actual emergencies. Have experience with numerous types of EOC activations, field operation support, and special event Incident Action Plan development.• Develop and conduct programs on emergency preparedness to schools, businesses, organizations, and special outreach events throughout the year. • Designed and deployed meteorological instrumentation in seven hurricanes and numerous tornadicevents for wind research and mitigation purposes.• Developed radar data display programs in Matlab for use in hurricane wind research.• Created Matlab code for analysis of large volume West Texas Mesonet datasets.• Instructor for atmospheric science laboratory classes for three semesters.
