Support the IT Leads Team, FP&A Mgmt and Accounting Partners in the completion of monthly actuals, forecast, and annual budget. Responsible for reviewing and approving IT purchase requests to ensure purchases are in alignment with forecast projections and accuracy of billing coding in Kontoor's financials. Work closely with IT leaders on the tracking and management of capital projects to ensure deadlines are met and financial commitments are met. Provide analytical support to business partners to help drive operating performance.

I am a business partner and provide financial support to Jeanswear Supply Chain Functions of Distribution and Logistics. I took over this role in early 2019 and had to juggle those new expectations while I was still performing my old responsibilities. I performed well across all fronts and pulled double duty until we found a new hire to take over my old responsibilities almost six months later. I am responsible for budgeting, forecasting and monthly closing and reporting of the Jeanswear Distribution function and Jeanswear Outbound Freight. I have good relationships with Distribution and Logistics senior management and I communicate in a frequent manner with DC Directors and Engineers. I also provide support to the Distribution VP and participate in his weekly check calls. I supported the transition to SAP Hana S4 in 2021 and worked together with Sales Finance in the new cost center structure for outbound freight and the new assessment of distribution cost centers to brands. I also collaborated with Accounts Payable and Logistics supporting the transition of CASS freight into S4. I learned to work remotely and I have been training and coaching a new Analyst that joined our team this year in the Distribution area.

This was a new role within the VF Finance organization. I introduced the first version of the budget monthly reports in the first quarter including explanation to variance to Plan/Forecast. I continued to refine them over Q2 of 2016 until the finished product was complete. I had to define the cost centers I included in the reports, determine who owns these cost centers, and seek input from the cost center owners on a forecast for the remainder of the year. I did a very good job in getting buy-in from the managers for this new process and continues to adapt where necessary to make the process better. I was responsible for all manufacturing support, forecasting, replenishment, HR, category management, customer service, facilities, and sales planning cost centers. Towards the end of 2016, other cost centers were added to my responsibility: finance, product development, and the innovation center so I had a complete look at the shared SG&A expenses at Jeanswear. The relationships I developed with the cost center owners and the knowledge gained while working on these reports were instrumental in having a successful 2017 Plan season. I knew what items to look out for, who to ask for updates, met deadlines, and provided solid data for the 2017P and submitted quarterly schedules to Corp Supply Chain. In 2017, I gained new knowledge and experience in VF leases transactions and administration and supported the leases area for two years. I completed the VF North America Survey for Real Estate and NR Estate properties. I supported the VBuy go live initiative and helped trained users. I became a strong leader and business partner for the SG&A areas.

I was responsible for the financial reporting of a subset of the Offshore Jeanswear subsidiaries. The numbers as reported by those subsidiaries were reviewed, questioned, and adjusted as necessary for Jeanswear to report the appropriate balances to Corporate at each month-end. Prepared reconciliation of annual imports as declared to US Customs to cost incurred at the subsidiary. Determines appropriateness of balances in ledger accounts.

Develop and lead the annual budget for the school and report on budgetary performance and trends. Manage the entire accounting cycle and reconcile the general ledger. Prepare monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis to report to the Board of Trustees. Participate in Board of Trustees meetings, Operations and Investment Committee meetings. Facilitate the annual external audit of the organization. Oversee purchasing, contracting, and related procedures. Review with the Head of School, Board of Trustees, administrators and faculty on internal control procedures.
