Oversee royalties for UPPM, including oversight and evaluation of the semi-annual royalty circulation from our network of global affiliates. Immediate liaison / contact for all UPPM 3rd party sub-publishers and affiliate offices. Liaison with core administrative offices to ensure the special requirements of UPPM agreements and clients are handled expeditiously. Special projects as requested by management.

Supervise incoming statement processing. Outgoing statement and payment review. Provide financial analysis to senior management to assist in determining addition, renewal and termination of songwriter deals. Work closely with Business Affairs, Copyright and Creative departments in songwriter inquiries, disputes and litigation. Work with external accountants conducting audits, review auditors reports and prepare company response.

Oversaw creation of the royalty department for newly formed company. Developed and documented policies and procedures for royalty operations stressing accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness. Responsible for preparation of publishing, songwriter and artist statements. Worked with Finance department in preparation of annual budget and cash flow forecasts. Directed the integration of several recording and publishing company acquisitions by Platinum into the ongoing company system.

Managed the accounting operations of the business, including AP, AR, payroll and preparation of cash flow requirements. Prepared all Artist, Publisher and Songwriter royalty statements. Responsible for product inventory controls and distributor negotiations. Negotiated Artist, Producer and Publishing agreements.

Responsible for quarterly and semi-annual Artist and Producer statement processing, including reconciliation to the General Ledger.
